Radiation Physics Solutions (RPS) is a comprehensive radiation therapy physics and radiation safety consulting firm based in Philadelphia, PA. Founded by a team of highly qualified, board-certified medical physicists and dosimetrists, we specialize in a wide range of technologies including, but not limited to, linear accelerators, GammaKnife, CyberKnife, proton therapy, and HDR brachytherapy.

We offer a full spectrum of services, including shielding design, equipment selection, regulatory application support, commissioning, staffing, accreditation preparation, quality assurance, treatment planning, chart review, and clinical oversight.

RPS provides both long-term and short-term physics and dosimetry support—either onsite or remotely—tailored to meet the needs of radiation oncology programs. Whether you're looking for routine coverage or support for specialized projects, we offer flexible, high-quality solutions.

To date, we have partnered with dozens of hospitals and healthcare facilities across the United States. Our team has commissioned over 100 linear accelerator and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) programs, and we currently provide ongoing support for more than a dozen active radiation oncology centers.

We are a clinically focused team with a strong commitment to research and innovation. Our passion lies in delivering the highest quality care and services to patients.

Jun Yang, PhD, DABR

Dr. Jun Yang, founder and president of RPS, is a world renown medical physicist specialized in robotic arm stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy. He is author of 100+ publications and serves as board of director and chair of physics committee for The Radiosurgery Society, member of AAPM task groups, and editorial board for Journal of Radiation Therapy and Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics.

Dr. Xing Liang is clinical manager for RPS

Xing Liang, PhD, DABR, CMD

Dr. Xing Liang received clinical training at University of Pennsylvania, where he served as chief medical physics resident and instructor. His expertise includes external beam radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic radiation therapy, radiation treatment planning, photodynamic therapy, proton therapy, and brachytherapy. He conducted research in varies of field of radiation physics, optics, and electrical engineering, and is author of 30+ peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters.

Ken Shao-Kang Juan, MS, DABR

Ken received master degree in medical physics from Columbia University, and gained extensive experience in medical physics from clinical work after graduation. He is an expert in both therapeutic clinical medical physics and treatment planning. He also holds medical physics license in New York State.

Andrew Cardin, MMP

Andrew received his Master of Medical Physics degree from University of Pennsylvania. As early as his undergraduate education, Andrew has received training and clinical experience over a wide range of treatment modalities and techniques, and has provided regular physics services to more than ten different clinical offices within six different major medical organizations. Andrew has experience performing 3D, IMRT, SRS and SBRT treatment planning.

Lahcen Arhjoul, PhD

Dr. Lahcen Arhjoul received multiple graduate degrees in computer science, nuclear medicine, and medical physics. He received his clinical training at University of Florida in therapeutic medical physics and joined RPS in 2018. He had extensive experience with 3D, IMRT, and VMAT treatment planning, QA of various clinical equipment, design and development of computer algorithms, and LDR/HDR brachytherapy. He is author of 20+ publications.

Dr. Chun-I Lin is a therapeutic medical physicist specializing in clinical radiation oncology physics services. She earned her PhD in Biomedical Physics from East Carolina University in 2019 and holds a Master’s degree in Medical Physics from Wayne State University, completed in 2014.

Her clinical expertise includes radiation treatment planning and support for a broad range of techniques, including 3D conformal radiotherapy, intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). She has extensive experience supporting complex clinical workflows and ensuring high-quality treatment delivery across diverse patient cases.

Hao Sha, PhD, DABR

Dr. Hao Sha is a board-certified therapeutic medical physicist (ABR) with advanced clinical training in radiation oncology physics. He completed his medical physics residency at Weill Cornell Medical College, where he gained comprehensive experience in clinical radiation therapy practice and treatment support.

His expertise includes external beam radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), and brachytherapy, with experience across a variety of treatment planning and delivery systems. He is currently serving as the Radiation Safety Officer for BluePearl Veterinary CyberKnife Cancer Center, where he oversees radiation safety programs and clinical physics operations.

Qian Wang is a Certified Medical Dosimetrist

Qian Wang

Qian Wang is a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (MDCB, 2023) with comprehensive clinical training from St. Luke’s University Hospital and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a Master’s degree in Medical Dosimetry from John Patrick University of Health and Applied Sciences, complementing her graduate and undergraduate degrees in chemical engineering from Lehigh University and the University Of Manchester, UK.

Qian specializes in advanced radiation treatment planning across Eclipse/Aria and Monaco/Mosaiq environments. Her technical expertise spans 2D, 3D, IMRT, and VMAT techniques, supported by proficiency in automation and secondary validation tools such as Radformation and RadCalc. Additionally, she has extensive hands-on experience with state-of-the-art delivery platforms, including Halcyon and TrueBeam systems.
